Most people believe that Osteopaths treat backs, sciatica, slipped discs, and sports injuries.
Of course that is true, but they are often surprised to learn that there are many other conditions
that respond very well to Osteopathic treatment.
We can advise patients when we find conditions that are not amenable to Osteopathic treatment,
and refer them either back to their GPs, or on to the relevant Consultant Specialist if required.
Also when necessary, we are able to request X-rays, MRI and ultra-sound scans, and other modern
diagnostic tests, though these are only available privately, not on the NHS.
